Lillian Austin

The Lillian Austin rose is blooming a lot this year. And I noticed a crazy new rose to rival the now extinct pixar rose. Tenth and Addison. It looks like a Cecille Bruner. I must get a Cecille Bruner rose and plant it! I love the smell and the color and the look.

What happened to the amazing Pixar roses? I'm assuming you are referring to the ones on the fence in Emeryville! I loved those!

they tore them all down! they were doing construction work on that side of the campus.

i was wrong! they're still there, behind black plastic and totally alive and kicking on the other side. must have been pruned heavily when the construction started, but not destroyed! yay!

I was gonna say...I just saw them this week in their full glory. We took a picture of Viv when she was just a baby, held up and surrounded by them. They always remind me of her babyhood. Your roses are gorgeous.
